Big news, another ZMorph VX review, new useful guidelines and more. Here’s the ZMorph Digest #42.
For the past few months we were working hard on the library containing all materials that are compatible with ZMorph VX Multitool 3D Printers. The result is a 100 pages document with almost 50 professional materials for 3D printing, CNC milling, and laser engraving and cutting. Feel free to browse through it and learn about different applications and mechanical properties. You can find the online version here.
We’re proud to inform you that ZMorph VX was thoroughly tested by the All3DP staff. All3DP is a well-known and respected source for 3D printing news and more. We were really glad to hear that they wanted to review the multitool machine.
The verdict is that ZMorph VX is a very useful multitool that’s capable of high-quality 3D printing with additional CNC and laser capabilities that also performed very well during tests.
ZMorph’s VX is a beast of a machine in more ways than one. Not only is it solid as a rock with a reinforced motion system and error-prevention measures, but it handles dual extrusion 3D printing, features fast and powerful laser cutting and engraving, and is capable of versatile CNC cutting.

ZMorph decided to start a strategic partnership with 3D Printers, owner of the HBOT 3D brand. From now on, the industrial 3D printer HBOT 3D F300 will be available through our worldwide net of resellers and both Research and Development teams will be working together to deliver even more professional and reliable solutions to our customers.

Many times we’ve been asked if ZMorph VX can mill in metals. The answer is yes and to make this experience easier and safer for you, we’ve prepared a set of guidelines to follow while CNC milling in soft metals like aluminum, brass or copper.
Read it here, and learn about safety, materials, workholding and milling cutters.
To supplement the ZMorph Materials Library, we'll also be publishing articles on our blog about different materials compatible with ZMorph VX. We’ve decided to start with PLA, perhaps the most popular material when it comes to 3D printing. Other materials will follow.
Read here to learn about temperatures, applications, Voxelizer settings and most important features.
We’re also happy to inform you, that ZMorph VX was recently named as one of the best all-in-one 3D printers in 2019 by Aniwaa, an internet portal on 3D printing, 3D scanning, AR and VR. They say “The ZMorph VX is a powerful all-in-one desktop 3D printer” and we couldn’t agree more.
See the full list here.
And last but not least, a look into the ZMorph community. We love to share your work done on ZMorph VX and again we’d like to present a model 3D printed by Fotis Mint.
