Founder of ZMorph explains how the Closed Loop System works and why it’s the most innovative feature of ZMorph 2.0 SX.
Closed Loop System is an error correction loop based on encoders. In ZMorph 2.0 SX multitool 3D printer, it guards the quality of your prints and CNC works. Przemek Jaworski, CEO & Founder of ZMorph explains how it works in our latest video.
Error correction in Closed Loop System
The infographics below shows the difference between ordinary 3D printers and ZMorph 2.0 SX armed with error correction system.
Thanks to this innovative system the machine maintains its position despite any unexpected events. In a situation when the nozzle loses its position, the carriage gets blocked or the worktable is jammed, the encoders restore the correct position of the extruder. This way your prints and CNC works are still fabricating fine and in the highest possible quality while other machines would just fail to make them.

Closed Loop System is just one of many innovations in ZMorph 2.0 SX multitool 3D printer, which includes exchangeable toolheads and worktables, touchscreen interface, improved construction, and others. They all make it the perfect tool for education, crafts, and rapid prototyping.
It's also worth adding that the object you can see in the video is the brave astronaut 3D model available on Designfutures and on every SD card added to ZMorph 2.0 SX. Within 90 minutes of unpacking the machine, it allows users to fabricate their first 3D print before starting more complex projects.
